After spending a long time on skincare and skin care, yet my skin remained dry, irritated, and sensitive, we discovered one thing we’d never questioned before: “water”—the water we use to wash our face and shower every day.

It may have a greater impact on skin condition than we realize. My skin had been problematic for a long time, and despite consulting many doctors, no clear cause was found. Stress led me to reflect on the most basic thing: the quality of the water we use daily. In cities with imperfect water systems, water has become a familiar factor, yet one we’ve never truly considered, even though it may be a crucial variable in skin health.

This research taught me that good skincare doesn’t necessarily start with a large number of skincare products, but rather with reducing irritants and paying attention to small details.
OLIV was created to begin skincare from the most basic thing: gentle water and more comfortable skin every day.
